Completely subverting its title, 'Mellow Out' is an incredibly punishing, ferociously loud assault of Japanese heavy psych and noise rock. Mainliner utilizes blown-out, lo-fi recording techniques to capture massive, repetitive guitar riffs and hypnotic, raw psychedelic improvisations.
