Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released concurrently with the temporary disbandment of his primary group Arab Strap, the Scottish songwriter's second solo album offers a surprisingly melodic, folk-tinged brand of indie pop. The pastoral, largely acoustic instrumentation provides an unexpectedly upbeat counterpoint to his characteristically cynical and self-deprecating lyricism.
