Biography
Malcolm Middleton is a Scottish singer, songwriter and guitarist from Falkirk, born in Dumfries on December 31, 1973. He is best known as the musical half of *Arab Strap* with *Aidan Moffat*, formed in 1995. His solo albums, beginning with '5:14 Fluoxytine Seagull Alcohol John Nicotine' in 2002 and including 'Into the Woods', 'A Brighter Beat', 'Sleight of Heart' and 'Waxing Gibbous', put his own dry, self deprecating singing and writing to the front. He has also recorded as Human Don't Be Angry and rejoined the reformed *Arab Strap* for 'As Days Get Dark'.
