Album Notes & Community Reviews
The London quintet, named after Erykah Badu's 'Mama's Gun', recorded their fourth album live to analogue tape and produced it themselves. Frontman Andy Platts leads a lineup completed by keyboardist Dave Oliver and guitarist Terry Lewis, and singles 'London Girls' and 'On the Wire' anchor its classic soul homage.
