Album Notes & Community Reviews
Masterminded by David Rohl, the second and final album from the Mandalaband project is an ambitious, Tolkienesque fantasy concept record. The symphonic rock opus features an astonishing roster of guest vocalists, including Justin Hayward of The Moody Blues, Maddy Prior of Steeleye Span, and Kevin Godley of 10cc. Despite its lavish production and all-star cast, the album remained a commercial obscurity.
