Biography
Mandalaband is the British symphonic progressive rock project of David Rohl, formed in Manchester in the early 1970s. Its first line up released 'Mandalaband' (1975), centred on the suite 'Om Mani Padme Hum', before Rohl continued with the guest filled concept album 'The Eye of Wendor: Prophecies' (1978). After decades away from music working in Egyptology, Rohl revived the name in Spain for 'BC - Ancestors' (2009) and 'AD - Sangreal' (2011), recorded with guitarist Ashley Mulford and a new circle of collaborators.
