Album Notes & Community Reviews

Building upon the eclectic foundation of their debut, the Brooklyn-based collective's sophomore effort presents an even more expansive synthesis of heavy funk, Latin rhythms, and sprawling progressive rock. The ambitious horn arrangements and deeply syncopated grooves demonstrate a remarkable musical versatility, cementing the ensemble's reputation as one of the most innovative and genre-defying acts of the early 1970s funk scene.
