Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Brooklyn-based funk collective Mandrill smooths out their dense, polyrhythmic sound for the dancefloor on 'We Are One'. The album leans heavily into polished disco and soul, featuring tight horn arrangements and highly rhythmic basslines. It reflects the group's commercial adaptation during the peak of the disco era.
