Album Notes & Community Reviews
Collaborating once again with producer Bill Laswell, the Cameroonian saxophonist effectively bridges traditional Makossa rhythms with the mechanical pulse of 1980s electro. The recording features prominent keyboard contributions from Herbie Hancock, resulting in a vibrant, extended exploration of synthesized African funk.
