Dark Endless

The notoriously extreme Swedish band's debut album captures a distinct transitional phase, leaning far heavier into the sludgy, mid-tempo riffs of classic death metal than their later, hyper-fast black metal works. The suffocatingly dark production and overt satanic lyricism nonetheless established them as central provocateurs in the Scandinavian extreme metal scene.
