Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking their fifteenth studio full-length, the Swedish black metal institution delivers a typically relentless and overwhelmingly hostile record. 'Memento mori' pivots slightly away from the World War II themes of their recent output to focus purely on the concept of inevitable death and mortality. The production is sharp and intensely aggressive, emphasizing continuous, high-speed blast beats and furious tremolo picking.
