Album Notes & Community Reviews

Reuniting with producer Randall Dunn (known primarily for his work with heavy metal acts like Sunn O)))), the Boston-based songwriter further refines her ghostly, gothic Americana. The album wraps her eerie, finger-picked acoustic melodies in sweeping, cinematic reverb and lush pedal steel, focusing lyrically on urban isolation and fading romances. It stands as a masterclass in haunting, deeply atmospheric modern folk.
