Album Notes & Community Reviews

Originating from a court-ordered alimony settlement, Marvin Gaye's deeply personal double album morphed into a staggeringly vulnerable, musically dense autopsy of his failed marriage. 'Here, My Dear' utilizes incredibly lush, multi-tracked vocals over hypnotic progressive soul grooves to deliver a profoundly bittersweet, highly introspective masterpiece of emotional bloodletting.
