Album Notes & Community Reviews
Pivoting away from sweeping political statements toward deeply intimate, intensely erotic bedroom grooves, Marvin Gaye released one of the most sensual albums ever recorded. Produced entirely by Leon Ware, 'I Want You' is a remarkably lush, beautifully nocturnal progressive soul classic, characterized by incredibly passionate, heavily synthesized arrangements and deeply romantic, sexual lyricism.
