Album Notes & Community Reviews
Marvin Gaye's 'In Our Lifetime' was issued by Motown amid disputes over sequencing, artwork, and completion, contributing to the end of his long relationship with the label. The album mixes spiritual conflict, romantic anxiety, and late-period funk production in a transitional moment before his move to Columbia.
