Album Notes & Community Reviews
'M.P.G.' presents Marvin Gaye during the period between his 1960s Motown hitmaking and the more self-directed work of the early 1970s. The album includes 'Too Busy Thinking About My Baby,' one of his major singles from the era. It shows Gaye still working largely within Motown's production system while his vocal identity continued to deepen.
