Album Notes & Community Reviews

Lamond's breakthrough album takes its title from the encouragement audiences shout at Cape Breton performances, roughly 'Go for it!', and pairs ancient Scottish Gaelic songs with contemporary pop production and players including keyboardist James Gray, bassist Rachel Melas and drummer Geoff Arsenault. It followed her Gaelic vocal on Ashley MacIsaac's hit 'Sleepy Maggie', won a MuchMusic Global Groove award for 'Bog a' Lochain', and was nominated for the 1998 Juno Award for Roots and Traditional Album: Solo.
