Album Notes & Community Reviews

Embracing the electric piano and early synthesizer technology, the brilliant Japanese pianist steered his sextet into the absolute vanguard of global jazz fusion.[cite: 1] The compositions merge incredibly complex, high-energy polyrhythms with fluid, advanced post-bop improvisations, rivaling the intensity of Miles Davis's electric bands.[cite: 1] It stands as a towering, fiercely innovative achievement in modern Japanese jazz.[cite: 1]
