The second studio album by the Manchester-based trumpeter and composer is a remarkably elegant, soulful homage to 1960s spiritual and modal jazz. Featuring a deeply empathetic sextet, the tracks balance vibrant, uplifting brass melodies with incredibly lush, meditative pacing inspired by Alice Coltrane and Miles Davis. It firmly established his Gondwana Records label as a premier modern home for beautifully arranged British jazz.
