Sousoume Tamachek

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Pivoting away from the blazing electric guitar solos that defined his earlier international breakthrough, the Tuareg musician returns with a deeply intimate, acoustic-driven collection. The tracking consists of raw, unaccompanied performances utilizing only acoustic guitar, subdued percussion, and his passionate vocal delivery. The record highlights the foundational, traditional folk elements of the contemporary Saharan desert blues movement.
