Album Notes & Community Reviews

Led by visionary bassist and composer Ralph Hubert, the legendary German pioneers of progressive thrash deliver an incredibly dense, musically terrifying late-career album. 'In a Mirror Darkly' heavily incorporates classical acoustic guitar interludes amidst overwhelmingly complex, wildly shifting, and violently fast thrash metal riffing. It stands as a fiercely technical, profoundly demanding, and remarkably progressive exercise in musical extremity.
