The Mekons titled their thirteenth studio album after C茅line's novel 'Journey to the End of the Night', recording it between London studios MontiSound and Corina and Chicago's Stinkpole and Kingsize Sound Labs. Edith Frost, Kelly Hogan and Neko Case add backing vocals and John Rice plays electric sitar on a record that folds the band's post-punk origins into alt-country and folk rock.
