Album Notes & Community Reviews
This ambitious double album from the legendary Washington state heavy music pioneers is split into two distinct halves. 'Death' offers a standard collection of their signature weird, down-tuned sludge metal and alternative rock, while 'Love' serves as a bizarre, largely beatless ambient sound collage acting as an original film score. The release highlights both the band's enduring heavy rock prowess and their penchant for avant-garde absurdity.
