Album Notes & Community Reviews

Featuring the recording debut of bassist Lori Black (Lorax), 'Ozma' solidified the Melvins' devastatingly heavy, downtuned sludge metal sound. The album is incredibly raw and lethargic, abandoning standard punk tempos for ominous, aggressive, and highly cryptic dirges that heavily influenced the Seattle grunge movement.
