Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Danish heavy metal legends continued their remarkably consistent 1990s reunion streak with this tightly focused, occult-driven effort. King Diamond's iconic, piercing falsetto leads incredibly complex, shifting guitar harmonies supplied by Hank Shermann and Michael Denner. The production maintains a distinctly ominous, old-school atmosphere, fiercely defending traditional extreme metal aesthetics against the decade's modernizing trends.
