Biography
King Diamond is a Danish heavy metal band formed in Copenhagen in 1985 by the singer of the same name with Michael Denner, Timi Hansen, Mikkey Dee and Andy LaRocque, after the split of *Mercyful Fate*. Most of its twelve studio albums are horror concept records, from 'Abigail' (1987) and '"Them"' (1988) to 'The Puppet Master' (2003) and 'Give Me Your Soul...Please' (2007), released by #Roadrunner Records# and later #Metal Blade Records#. Guitarist Andy LaRocque played on every album before leaving in 2026, when Gus G replaced him.
