Album Notes & Community Reviews
Dedicated once again to his feline companions, Masami Akita's 'CATalysis 鐚獟' delivers another unrelenting barrage of harsh analog textures. The album eschews any semblance of melody for a pure, physical confrontation of static, screeching feedback, and sub-bass frequencies. It serves as a testament to Merzbow's unwavering dominance in the international noise music idiom.
