Album Notes & Community Reviews

Merzbow's 'Merzzow' is a comparatively playful entry in Masami Akita's noise catalogue, its harsh electronic textures cut with animal sounds and rhythmic loops. It demonstrates the plunderphonic side of his practice, where sampling and distortion replace conventional structure entirely.
