Album Notes & Community Reviews

Operating alongside Hellhammer and Celtic Frost in the Swiss metal scene, Messiah unleashed an unimaginably chaotic, proto-death metal debut. The furiously sloppy drumming, unhinged vocal shrieks, and relentlessly dark riffing laid critical groundwork for the extreme metal aesthetics of the late 80s.
