Album Notes & Community Reviews
A radical and beautiful departure from their post-hardcore sound, this fourth album saw the band fully embrace an acoustic, folk-oriented direction. Inspired by the parables of the Sufi mystic Bawa Muhaiyaddeen, it's a warm, playful, and spiritually uplifting record filled with animal fables and rich, pastoral instrumentation including accordion and horns. The album is a testament to the band's fearless creativity and Aaron Weiss's continued spiritual and lyrical evolution.
