Album Notes & Community Reviews
Deliberately turning away from the synth-pop hits of their debut, MGMT released this weird, sprawling psychedelic rock album. 'Congratulations' is influenced by 60s eccentricities and surf rock, featuring long, progressive song structures. While initially polarizing, it has since been reclaimed as a cult classic.
