MGMT

MGMT is an American band whose music evolved from satirical indie pop to a more expansive and eclectic form of psychedelic rock. Formed by Andrew VanWyngarden and Ben Goldwasser, the duo broke through with their 2007 debut album 'Oracular Spectacular', which spawned the global hits "Kids," "Time to Pretend," and "Electric Feel." They defied commercial expectations with their ambitious follow-up, 'Congratulations', and continued to explore complex, synth-heavy sounds on subsequent albums like 'Little Dark Age' and 'Loss of Life'. Signed to #Columbia Records# for much of their career, they later launched their own #MGMT Records# imprint, maintaining a reputation for their distinctive visuals and unpredictable sonic shifts.
