Fernwärme

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The former Neu! and Harmonia guitarist's fourth solo effort is a remarkably serene, synthesizer-heavy journey emphasizing sustained, floating melodicism over aggressive krautrock rhythms. Featuring the intricate drumming of Jaki Liebezeit, 'Fernwärme' effectively replaces traditional rock instrumentation with soaring, crystalline synth textures. It perfectly encapsulates the transition of the German experimental scene into sleek, pristine ambient soundscapes.
