Album Notes & Community Reviews

Signaling a massive leap in commercial visibility and production ambition, this release pushed the band's fiercely political pub-rock into a sophisticated, arena-ready context. Driven by themes of Cold War paranoia and anti-imperialism, it spent an extraordinary 171 weeks on the Australian charts, solidifying their status as a vital voice of conscience.
