Not a conventional album, "Restos de un incendio" is a deliberate, live-in-studio reimagining of Migala's earlier work. The Madrid collective deconstructs and reassembles tracks from "Arde" and "Así duele un verano," imbuing them with a new, somber gravitas. The result is a cinematic journey through smoldering post-rock landscapes and intimate, folk-inflected confessionals. Expanded arrangements with strings and winds amplify the inherent drama, creating a sound that is both desolate and deeply cathartic—perfectly embodying the album's title as the quiet, complex, and hauntingly beautiful remains of a fire.
