Constructed as a loose, freewheeling studio jam featuring Al Kooper guiding two completely different guitar virtuosos on separate sides of the vinyl. 'Super Session' is a wonderfully nocturnal, incredibly passionate blues-rock masterclass, balancing heavily improvised, deeply energetic electric blues with subtly mellow, psychedelic jamming.
