Album Notes & Community Reviews
Diverging sharply from his trademark instrumental epics, Mike Oldfield crafted an incredibly polished, vocal-driven pop-rock album under significant pressure from his record label. 'Earth Moving' utilizes bright, late-80s synthesizers and features a rotating cast of guest vocalists, including Maggie Reilly and Chris Thompson. It remains a polarizing, commercially oriented artifact of his discography.
