Album Notes & Community Reviews
The legendary progressive rock multi-instrumentalist delivers a highly polished, incredibly accessible collection of straightforward pop-rock anthems, mostly written during his time living in the Bahamas. 'Man on the Rocks' relies heavily on the powerful vocal performances of Luke Spiller (The Struts), backed by Oldfield's signature, highly melodic guitar lines. It is a wonderfully bright, intensely passionate, and beautifully mellow soft-rock record.
