Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released strictly to commemorate the turning of the millennium, Mike Oldfield's conceptual project loosely traces two thousand years of human history across an incredibly eclectic suite of musical styles[cite: 1]. The ambitious, albeit widely criticized, tracklist haphazardly jumps from sweeping orchestral and worldbeat arrangements to highly dated, upbeat electronic trance sequences[cite: 1].
