Album Notes & Community Reviews
Recorded when he was barely nineteen and famously serving as the inaugural release for Virgin Records, Mike Oldfield's sprawling instrumental opus became a massive cultural phenomenon. 'Tubular Bells' is an incredibly epic, fiercely complex progressive rock suite, weaving wonderfully eclectic, highly technical multi-instrumental layering into a deeply atmospheric, brilliantly melodic sonic journey.
