Album Notes & Community Reviews

After notable stints with Santana and Return to Forever, the master percussionist steps into the spotlight with a blistering, highly technical fusion debut. Heavily driven by complex polyrhythms, rapid-fire synthesizer leads, and funk-oriented slap bass, the album perfectly distills the intense, virtuosic energy of mid-70s American jazz-rock.
