Ultraviolet

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking the return of the band's original lineup for the first time since their 2004 debut, 'Ultraviolet' is a work of sophisticated and dynamic metalcore that blends immense brutality with emotional, atmospheric melodies. The album's songwriting is noted for its technicality and cohesive flow, featuring brighter and more uplifting compositions compared to its predecessor, with themes of hope and acceptance. Production was a collaborative effort involving former guitarist Greg Thomas and notable engineer Devin Townsend, who helped shape the record's layered guitar work and emotionally charged vocal performances.
