Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released mere months after their dissolution, the final Misfits studio album is an incredibly dark, blindingly fast departure from their earlier 50s-inspired pop melodies. Glenn Danzig leads the band through a notoriously raw, lo-fi barrage of aggressive hardcore punk obsessed with death, the occult, and heavy, metallic speed. 'Earth A.D.' stands as a ferocious, deeply influential bridge between horror punk and the burgeoning thrash metal movement.
