Album Notes & Community Reviews
The Icelandic black metal frontrunners return with an overwhelmingly heavy, remarkably focused third album. Discarding the more melodic and atmospheric tendencies of their previous record, the relentless, blast-beat-driven compositions are anchored by brutal, thrash-oriented guitar riffs and a distinctly cold, apocalyptic intensity.
