Album Notes & Community Reviews
A stunningly accomplished debut that forcefully positioned the Icelandic black metal scene at the forefront of the underground underground. The compositions balance terrifying, dissonant aggression with unexpected melodic sensibility and suffocating, ritualistic atmospheres. The raw, muscular production successfully captures the ferocious intensity of their acclaimed live performances.
