Album Notes & Community Reviews

Deliberately conceived as a dual-faced project, 'Alpha Noir' functions as the fiercely aggressive counterpart to its simultaneously released companion piece, 'Omega White'. The Portuguese veterans leaned heavily into their thrash and death metal roots, significantly dialing back the sweeping gothic romanticism that defined much of their catalog. It was praised for delivering an uncharacteristically direct, riff-oriented assault while retaining their trademark dark atmosphere.
