Morphine's debut album introduces their highly distinctive, bass-and-saxophone-driven "low rock" sound to the alternative scene. 'Good' is an incredibly nocturnal, deeply atmospheric exploration of jazz-rock and smoky blues, marked by Mark Sandman's deadpan vocals and dark, bittersweet urban lyricism.
