Album Notes & Community Reviews

Making the jump to a major label, the Boston-based 'low rock' pioneers subtly expanded their distinctively sleek, bass-and-saxophone-driven sound with occasional synthesizer textures and acoustic guitar. Mark Sandman's smoky, laconic vocal delivery continues to anchor the deeply hypnotic, nocturnal jazz-rock aesthetic they perfected.
