Album Notes & Community Reviews

Showcasing his unique blend of Mississippi blues and modern jazz piano, 'I Don't Worry About a Thing' highlights Mose Allison's wry, cynical lyricism. His laconic vocal delivery perfectly complements the angular, hard bop arrangements and sharp piano playing. The album profoundly influenced the coming generation of British rhythm and blues artists, notably inspiring covers by The Yardbirds and The Who.
