Album Notes & Community Reviews

The acclaimed South London drummer and bandleader steps to the forefront with an incredibly dynamic, genre-fluid solo debut. The record seamlessly integrates fiery, live-band jazz improvisation with the stuttering, syncopated rhythms of UK garage and grime. Earning a Mercury Prize nomination, it perfectly encapsulates the modern, club-adjacent renaissance of the British jazz scene.
